Nurse Residency Program
Our Nurse Residency program trains graduated nurses, those re-entering the profession, and those pivoting fields to become safe, competent providers. Our program covers a variety of specialities, including:
- Med/Surg/Tele
- Critical Care
- Emergency Department
- Special Care Nursery
- Pediatric Intensive Care
The program is delivered through three learning environments:
- Clinical learning with experienced RNs.
- Classroom learning (synchronous) – Hands-on learning labs including high fidelity simulation, skills, expert facilitation and critical thinking scenarios.
- Online learning (asynchronous) – Learner-paced, interactive modules accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
In-line with our commitment to lifelong learning, Northern Arizona Health offers in-house continuing education credits. To promote professional development, and support staff achieve their ambitions, we offer colleagues tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year.
Flagstaff Medical Center
